Bike Fitting Course Policies

EDUCATION CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Our 3-day (IBFI level 1 & 2 equivalent) Bike Fitting course is presented in two parts.

  1. The first part (PART 1) of the course provides students with the basic background information we feel is essential for understanding bike fitting concepts.
  2. The second part (PART 2) of the course provides the remaining detailed materials, which will be presented on Friday of the course.

When you register and pay in full for the 3-day Bike Fitting course, you will first receive all the materials associated with the BACKGROUND section of the course via our GOOGLE DRIVE. These materials include:

  • Video lectures
  • Slide handouts (PDF) that we have created for each lecture
  • A homework booklet covering the material presented in the background section of the course. The homework booklet has been created not only to help you review the materials presented in the video lectures but also to inform us about materials that students may be struggling with.
We require the homework booklet to be turned in prior to Wednesday before the start of the course. This signifies completion of PART 1.

Once your homework booklet is turned in, you will be given access to the remaining course videos and slide handouts (PART 2) that cover our bike fit process in detail.

These materials will be discussed in class on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

If you have questions, please contact us immediately. Once you have received access to the materials that cover our detailed bike fitting process, you will be allowed to attend the class as scheduled.

CANCELLATION REQUESTS

If you request to cancel after receiving the PART 1 materials, there are 2 options:

  • We can place you in the next course with no additional fees, or
  • We can offer you a 40% refund of your current full payment.

If you wish to take the course at a later date, we can offer you a 20% discount.

If you request to cancel after receiving the PART 2 materials, there will be $0 refund since you will have received the full course. You will have the option to be placed into the next course if you wish.

In either case, you will not be able to receive any credits or a diploma for the current course for which you signed up.

COURSE LIMITATIONS.

First, ALL new (2026) IBFI levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 have been restructured. Our current course (Beginner/Intermediate) is IBFI approved up through IBFI level 2.

Secondly, we are currently finishing a new stand-alone IBFI Level 3 course, which we will be offering at the end of 2026.

Lastly, we have determined that the optimal number of students for each class is 4, which is a class size ensures that each student has enough class time to complete two full bike fits.

Note: If there is more interest than scheduled classes, we will be offering more classes throughout the year. Please see our website for current course schedules.

COURSE EXPECTATIONS.

Participation in our bike fitting courses is required for all attendees. The sessions will provide important information, guidance, and updates that are essential to your understanding and performance as a bike fitter, so please make every effort to participate in the entire course. Participants are expected to remain engaged throughout the session and contribute to discussions and activities as requested.

As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
