#ERROR!

A 16 year old junior came in with her father after her fathers very successful fit from the week before. He’s now solid on his bicycle after adding 30 watts to his bottom line.
She’s a STRONG cyclist and he wanted to make sure that she is physically safe (knees and joints) on the bicycle.
After initial evaluation and warm up, she pedaled steady state at 190 watts (*RPE=5). Very good for a 16 year old.
Post bike fit, same *RPE, now she was pedaling at 265 watts, a 75 watt increase, and she said she was a lot more comfortable!!!
Next, ramping up the power, she hit 489 watts for 40 seconds! The smiles on her and her dad’s faces was priceless! This is what it’s all about!
*RPE – Rating of Perceived Exertion. She was asked to maintain the same RPE of 5 throughout the bike fit.
